I have never really used crock pots before, other than to make little weenies during the Super Bowl but today I found this little gem on Pinterest and thought I’d test it out.
The prep time took me a little longer than I would have liked – and the olive oil kept popping and spattering on me but other than that it was pretty simple.
My husband gave it an 8.8 out of 10. It probably would have been better had I made rice or something to go with it, other than throwing on some green beans to heat up before it was ready.
I also wish I would’ve started it earlier so I could have cooked it longer on low heat, instead of three hours on high heat. Some of the pieces looked a little burnt. But the chicken came apart and was pretty tender.
Definitely a recipe I would make again.
